Marketing and Communications Librarian - Prince Memorial LibraryPrince Memorial Library in Cumberland, Maine is accepting applications for a full-time Marketing and Communications Librarian. We seek a creative and detail-oriented individual who will lead in the design of promotional materials, write copy for print and digital platforms, create graphics for social media, and maintain the library’s website. The position also supports event planning and coordination with the Community Outreach and Youth Services Librarians.
Writing samples and examples of visual marketing work are required.
Hours
:
This is a full-time, 40-hour per week exempt position. Normally scheduled to work Tuesday through Saturday, with some nights and weekends.
- Retirement plan options include MePERS 2C Plan (1/2 (50%) of Average Final Compensation (AFC) plus 2.0% of AFC for each year of service beyond 25 years), or 457 Deferred Compensation Plan (up to 7% match)

- A masters degree from an ALA-accredited program in Library and/or Information Science or related field in communications, public relations, website management, or marketing, supplemented by considerable experience in the operation of a library, or any equivalent combination of experience and training is preferred.
