Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant ~ Primary Care

Seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide quality health care and emergency treatment while promoting healthy habits, educating on preventive methods and management of chronic illnesses.

• Provides patient care within established protocols, policies and regulations of the scope of practice to assure quality patient care.
• Maintains accurate and complete patient health records to assure confidentiality and compliance with health care regulations.
• Interprets health data by identifying risk factors and provides wellness activities.
• Diagnosing and treating common diseases and human responses to actual and potential health problems.
• Counseling individuals and families regarding health care issues.

• Graduation from a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Certification by American Academy Nurse Practitioners.
• Active State of Maine Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant License, current CPR, ACLS, or a combination of education and experience.
• Licensed with the State of Maine.
• Possess strong communication, analytical, and observation skills.
