Seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide quality health care and emergency treatment while promoting healthy habits, educating on preventive methods and management of chronic illnesses. Part of the providers time will be working with Occupational Medicine patients.
Primary Responsibilities- Provides patient care within established protocols, policies and regulations of the scope of practice to assure quality patient care.
- Maintains accurate and complete patient health records to assure confidentiality and compliance with health care regulations.
- Interprets health data by identifying risk factors and provides wellness activities.
- Diagnosing and treating common diseases and human responses to actual and potential health problems.
- Counseling individuals and families regarding health care issues.
- Graduation from a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
- Certification by American Academy Nurse Practitioners.
- Active State of Maine Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant License, current CPR, ACLS, or a combination of education and experience.
- Licensed with the State of Maine.
- Possess strong communication, analytical, and observation skills.
