Registered Nurse Neonatal ICU

Job Overview

Registered Nurse, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) – Full Time Days – Level 3 NICU, located at DMC Sinai‑Grace Hospital. RNs are ventilator trained, experienced in gavage feeding, PICC line placements and BLS certified. Nursing staff receive training in specialized equipment such as Panda Warmers.

• Establishes and maintains collaborative relationships with physicians and other health care providers.
• Delegates, assesses, provides and evaluates patient care.
• Provides and delegates patient care activities to team members.
• Monitors patient progress and prepares patient for discharge.
• Reports directly to senior unit management and participates in shared decision‑making activities.

• Graduation from a school of nursing required.
• BSN preferred.
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Michigan required.
• American Heart Association (AHA) BLS required.
