Job Description
CoWorx Staffing is hiring a Dimensional Inspector for a leading manufacturing facility in Bridgton, ME .
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with quality inspection experience, especially those with CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) experience, to work in a climate-controlled environment producing critical components for the submarine industry.
Shift: Monday-Thursday | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Optional overtime available on Friday mornings)
LocationBridgton, Maine
Responsibilities- Perform first-piece, in-process, incoming, and final inspections
- Use measuring tools and inspection equipment including: CMMs, Height Gages, Calipers, Micrometers
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
- Verify products meet customer and engineering specifications
- Record inspection results and maintain quality documentation
- Collect and compile statistical quality data
- Assist in investigating product defects and rework issues
- Ensure measuring equipment is properly calibrated and functioning
- Recommend improvements to inspection and manufacturing processes
- Previous quality inspection experience required
- CMM experience is required (basic experience will be considered)
- Ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints
- High School Diploma or GED
- Manufacturing, machining, or related technical training preferred
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Basic math and technical reading skills
