Concession Worker Park Seasonal Summer

now hiring for summer of 2026 at plamann park!

the concession worker park seasonal assists lake guests with concession and admission purchases as well as cleaning and maintaining the lake concessions building and sitting area.

located at plamann park: 1375 e broadway drive in appleton, wi

must be at least 16 years old or older.

the hours are: sunday to saturday, 11:00 am to 7:00 pm. Every other weekend is required (rotating).

the following duties are most critical for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.

• sell and stock concession products to lake and park guests.
• serve concessions and maintain a high level of cleanliness.
• prepare food in a safe and clean manner and maintain a high level of cleanliness and safety with food preparation, equipment and dispensers.
• receive deliveries of concession products.
• be at the facility in uniform and ready to work at the designated start of the work shift.
• excellent customer service skills.
• assist with nightly deposits and close down procedures.
• wash machines and utensils nightly.
• restock concessions nightly for next day.
• sweep and wash floors nightly.
• maintain and clean building, restrooms and grounds around lake building.
• rake woodchips and pick up litter in lake area as needed.
• performs other duties as assigned.

• must be at least 16 years old to work in the concession stand.
• must have the ability to lift items of 50 lbs. Or more several times per shift.

• customer service and friendly public interaction.
• cash handling and point-of-sale (pos) system use.
• food and beverage preparation and handling.
• knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.
• multitasking and time management skills.

• physical ability to stand for long periods and lift light to moderate items.

• outdoor concession stand located at a lake or recreational area.

• noise from crowds, water activities, and equipment.
• work schedule may include weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
