Inside Sales Representative - Industrial Systems/Plumbing/HVAC

Salary $70,000-$90,000

Responsibilities
  • Leverage in-depth technical knowledge of products, industry standards, and disciplines to effectively serve customer needs, including preparing bid proposals, guiding product usage, exploring alternative solutions, and fostering strong customer relationships.
  • Develop detailed job layouts and specify necessary accessories for hydronic and steam boiler projects.
  • Provide technical consultation to clients regarding product selection, suitability for specific applications, troubleshooting technical issues, advising on product options and pricing, and evaluating specifications and bid submissions to support sourcing decisions.
  • Perform testing and calculations to determine optimal calibration parameters for various product applications.
  • Coordinate with customers to source specialized materials for projects, utilizing purchase orders or authorizing product transfers between locations as needed.
  • Collaborate with both internal sales teams and external partners to advise, source, and prepare quotes that meet the technical requirements of customer projects.
  • Make recommendations to management regarding inventory adjustments, including adding or removing products and adjusting pricing strategies to stay competitive.
  • Formulate and implement strategies aligned with corporate growth objectives to drive business expansion.
  • Manage customer service interactions efficiently, including tracking long-lead purchase orders, updating clients on status changes, and providing personalized service to strengthen customer loyalty.
  • Act as a representative of the company’s commitment to understanding and anticipating customer needs, proactively supporting their business growth and improving their overall experience.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in a relevant discipline such as plumbing, heating, HVAC/R, or related fields.
  • Ability to design job layouts and specify required accessories for hydronic and steam boiler systems.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with excellent verbal and written communication abilities to effectively promote services and products to both new and existing customers.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex issues and resolve technical challenges based on expertise.
