We are seeking an experienced Concrete Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in forming, pouring, and finishing concrete for various construction projects, including residential and commercial builds under the supervision of a lead carpenter or foreman. This role requires the ability to work safely and efficiently while ensuring quality craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities- Build, assemble, and install concrete forms for structures such as foundations, walls, and floors.
- Set up and install rebar for reinforcing concrete.
- Pour and finish concrete, ensuring the proper consistency and quality.
- Place smooth and finish concrete surfaces using hand tools and power equipment.
- Ensure that all work adheres to safety regulations and building codes.
- Collaborate with other team members and project managers to meet deadlines.
- Perform minor maintenance and repairs on tools and equipment.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a concrete carpenter.
- Strong knowledge of concrete formwork, installation, and finishing techniques.
- Ability to read construction plans and drawings.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and concrete finishing equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow safety protocols.
- Exceptional customer service skills and ability to work in a collaborative, team environment.
- Good organizational skills and attention to pace and accuracy.
- Ability to effectively communicate in a professional manner verbally and in writing.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
