Description

R.H. Foster Energy is looking for an experienced, highly skilled Service Technician to join our growing team. What You’ll Do
  • Diagnose and repair complex HVAC, heat pump, oil heating, propane, and natural gas systems.
  • Troubleshoot difficult electrical, controls, communication, wiring, sensor, and system-performance issues.
  • Resolve recurring equipment failures and intermittent mechanical problems.
  • Perform advanced oil heating diagnostics and repairs across multiple manufacturers and equipment types.
  • Complete advanced plumbing and drainage troubleshooting and repairs as permitted by licensing requirements.
  • Communicate technical findings and repair recommendations clearly to customers and team members.
  • Document diagnostic findings thoroughly to support future service work and continuous improvement.
  • Serve as a technical mentor by providing coaching, guidance, and support to Technician I and II team members.
  • Act as a primary escalation resource for difficult service calls and complex customer concerns.
  • Identify opportunities to improve service quality, efficiency, training, and operational processes.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and support best practices for parts and materials management.
  • Consistently meet productivity expectations while maintaining quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
  • Follow all company safety policies and promote safe work and driving practices.
