Shift: M-F 8:30am – 2:30pm
Salary: $33,137.99
- Assists individuals served within the program obtain and maintain employment that is consistent with their employment goals.
- Provides individual and small group instruction in self‑care, activities of daily living, communication, social and motor skills.
- Provides direct care for ADLs and group activities; lifts and transfers individuals as appropriate to their needs.
- Participates in scheduled supervision sessions with the Assistant Director. Communicates respectfully and pro‑actively with families, residential staff and all members of participants’ teams.
- Participates in program‑wide staff meetings and case review meetings as scheduled. Helps in team meetings regarding general program development, including curriculum development and schedules.
- Attends in‑service trainings as required.
- Complies with all applicable State and Federal regulations, agency policy and procedures, and personnel practices.
- Performs other duties as requested by supervisor(s).
- Experience working with individuals with /DD.
- High School diploma or equivalent. Direct experience working with individuals diagnosed with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families preferred.
- Must be able to pass a fingerprint background check, CORI, DPPC and driving background checks.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Valid MAP certification is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- 403(b) matching up to 3 %.
