Summary of the Position: Hourly, part‑time position involves serving youth and families in Yarmouth Maine.
- Ideal candidate will be dependable, committed, and serve as a positive role model for youth in community, school, and home settings.
- The primary responsibilities of the Advocate are to initiate, organize, plan, develop and implement direct advocacy services to assigned participants and their families.
- All service plans will be based on a strength‑based approach using the wrap‑around model.
This position offers flexible hours, competitive weekly pay, mileage allowance, and activity reimbursement.
Hourly rate: $21.00 per hour
Qualifications/Requirements- Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
- Prior experience in community work and knowledge of community resources.
- Experience working with at‑risk youth.
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
- Reliable insured transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance coverage.
