Location: Howland
MSAD #31 is seeking a compassionate and experienced Social Worker/Counselor for the 26-27 school year. The ideal candidate will provide skill-based individual counseling & peer-based groups for social skills to K-12 students with IEPs and 504 plans. The position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and adolescents within a collaborative educational setting.
Responsibilities Include- Provide confidential support for staff as needed
- Establish relationships with parents & community
- Participate in school-based activities in the community
- Attending IEP & 504 meetings as needed
- Assessing student mental health/emotional needs and making referrals to other community services as needed
- Must be certified as an LSW, LMSW or LCPC in the state of Maine
Salary Range: 45,870 to 76,572.30
