We’re looking for an Engineering Manager to join our growing team!

Overview

The ideal candidate should possess strong technical leadership experience in backend and platform engineering, with a proven ability to lead teams delivering scalable, secure, and high-quality on-premises products. You will manage a core engineering team responsible for building and evolving dynamic features within the Network Observability suite of products.

You will work closely with a small, highly focused engineering team and operate within an Agile software development process. You will collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders, guide execution, and help define and drive technical and delivery strategies for our products.

Responsibilities
  • Leading and mentoring a team of software engineers to deliver high‑quality, scalable solutions
  • Providing technical guidance on architecture, design decisions, and implementation approaches
  • Collaborating with product management, architecture, and other stakeholders to define requirements and priorities
  • Driving the delivery of new dynamic services for Network Observability
  • Ensuring best practices for security, reliability, and data protection are followed
  • Establishing and improving development processes, including CI/CD, testing, and quality standards
  • Supporting career development, performance management, and growth of engineering team members
  • Coordinating with internal teams to ensure successful rollout, training, and support of new solutions
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Proven experience leading and managing software engineering teams
  • Strong understanding of backend systems, distributed services, and modern software architectures
  • Experience leveraging open source technologies and open standards
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills
  • Demonstrated passion for mentoring, coaching, and developing engineering talent
  • Experience working in Agile or Scrum‑based development environments
Nice to Have
  • Hands‑on experience with Golang and REST API development
  • Familiarity with Open Telemetry, gRPC, or similar observability and communication frameworks
  • Experience managing teams building on‑premises or enterprise software products
  • Background in Network Observability or related domains
