Summer Baseball Coach

Overview

Camp Laurel South is seeking a qualified Baseball Counselor for the summer of 2026. The role involves providing quality instruction to campers, fostering skill development, teamwork, and a love for baseball. Primary goal: create a positive and supportive learning environment.

• Develop and implement engaging baseball drills and activities for campers.
• Provide hands-on instruction to enhance fundamental skills such as batting, pitching, fielding, and base running.
• Assess campers' baseball abilities and tailor instruction to different skill levels.
• Organize and oversee friendly baseball games and competitions; teach the rules and basic strategy.
• Ensure a safe and organized baseball environment; monitor equipment and report issues.
• Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and a positive atmosphere on and off the field.
• Be adaptable to varying skill levels and learning styles; adjust plans based on feedback and progress.

• Previous experience in coaching or playing baseball preferred.
• Knowledge of baseball fundamentals, rules, and strategies.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with campers of different ages and skill levels.

Two-month commitment:
