This is a full‑time, on‑site position as a School Bus Driver based in Holden, ME. The School Bus Driver will be responsible for safely transporting students to and from school, field trips, and other school‑related activities. Daily tasks include conducting pre‑trip inspections of the bus, adhering to all traffic laws and safety standards, assisting students as needed, and maintaining clear communication with school staff and parents on transportation‑related matters.

Ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all passengers is a key focus of this role.

• Safely transport students to and from school and related activities.
• Conduct pre‑trip inspections of the bus.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety standards.
• Assist students as needed.
• Maintain clear communication with school staff and parents regarding transportation matters.
• Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all passengers.

• Proficiency in school bus driving and possession of a valid CDL Class B license with the proper endorsements.
• Knowledge of defensive driving techniques.
• Strong communication and customer service skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and school staff.
• Ability to maintain a clean driving record and follow traffic laws consistently.
• Attention to safety protocols and ability to handle emergency situations.
• Previous school transportation or similar experience is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
