Total Rewards Specialist

Direct Hire

Must have:

  • Bachelors degree (HR, Business Administration or related)
  • 5 year+ in Benefits and Compensation
  • ADP WFN
  • Thorough knowledge of 401K
  • Nice to have:

  • CEBS certification (this is one that could enhance a candidacy)
  • The Total Rewards Specialist (TRS) will serve as a key resource for company's employees, providing front-line support and expert guidance on employee rewards and benefits programs. This role is responsible for overseeing, managing, and administering benefits programs while ensuring clear and effective communication with employees. The TRS will contribute to the continuous improvement of rewards initiatives by gathering employee feedback, analyzing trends, and driving process enhancements to elevate the employee experience.

    Additionally, the TRS will collaborate with HR leadership to make data-driven decisions that align with organizational goals.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and manage total rewards programs, including health and wellness benefits and the company’s defined contribution retirement plan.
  • Design, implement, and roll out new benefits initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date benefits data in ADP Workforce Now.
  • Partner with HR leadership and benefits brokers to develop and refine benefit plan designs for annual renewals.
  • Prepare census data reports to support benefit renewal processes.
  • Develop and execute communication strategies to improve employees' understanding of benefits offerings.
  • Oversee benefit enrollment processes for new hires, qualifying life events (QLEs), and annual enrollment periods.
  • Manage 401(k) administration, including funding, audits, and reporting.
  • Process and reconcile benefit invoices and billing statements.
  • Administer COBRA benefits and coordinate benefits continuation for employees on leave of absence (LOA).
  • Regularly communicate total rewards program details to employees, including quarterly total rewards statements through ADP.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits via phone and email.
  • Maintain relationships with benefits vendors in coordination with HR leadership.
  • Generate and analyze employee reports as needed.
