Position Summary
:
The Applications Analyst II is a member of the User Access/Epic Security team and supports the daily provisioning, editing, and terminating of access to multiple systems including Epic under the direction of the Senior Director of Applications.
Key Responsibilities
:
- System Maintenance and Optimization:
Maintain and optimize current User Access workflows. - Updates and Testing:
Participate in application updates and complete required testing of new processes and functionality. - New Application Integration:
Integrate new applications into existing workflows. - Liaison and Modification:
Act as liaison between users and IT teams to guide security modifications based on updated needs. - User Support and
Education:
Facilitate end users' understanding and maximize software use. Coordinate access provisioning with IT Education staff, especially for clinicians. - Issue Resolution:
Respond to user questions with timely answers and appropriate referrals.
Qualifications
:
- Bachelor’s degree in health care related field, Information Systems or Business Management, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years experience as an Application Analyst or similar healthcare IT role.
- Appropriate Epic experience required; certification preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and team collaboration skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Critical eye for risk analysis, monitoring and quality assurance.
- Significant experience deploying systems in a complex healthcare organization.
- Experience working with cross‑functional groups and varied needs.
