We are working with a well-established manufacturing business who are looking to strengthen their maintenance team with an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer. This is a great opportunity for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer who enjoys hands-on fault finding, preventive maintenance, and contributing to continuous improvement within a busy industrial environment.
In this role, you'll be responsible for keeping production plant and site facilities operating efficiently and safely. As a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you'll carry out planned preventive maintenance, respond to breakdowns, and support health & safety requirements, while working closely with the wider maintenance team. This position suits a proactive engineer who is comfortable working under pressure and is keen to broaden their skill set.
Key Responsibilities
Proactively complete PPM schedules across a wide range of manufacturing equipment
Carry out fault finding and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems
Respond to breakdowns and health & safety-related issues
Complete general repairs to buildings and site facilities
Support and deliver continuous improvement activities
Carry out additional reasonable duties to support efficient site operations
Skills & Experience Required
Recognised electrical, mechanical, or electro-mechanical engineering apprenticeship
Minimum Level 3 qualification (C&G, NVQ, BTEC, or ONC equivalent)
At least 5 years' experience working as a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer in an industrial engineering environment
BS7671 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
Strong fault-finding skills across hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical circuits
Good understanding of health & safety regulations
Well organised with strong communication and problem-solving skills
Desirable (Not Essential)
IOSH qualification
C&G 2391 Inspection & Testing
MEWP or FLT licence
LEV P601 certification
