Salary circa 28,000 depending on experience

An expanding family run, high technology company in Maldon, are looking to recruit a PCB Assembler / Conventional Assembler to assemble electronic products to a high quality with limited supervision. Candidates must have though hole assembly experience to be considered for this role.

Duties:

• Perform standard conventional hand assembly
• Component Pre-forming
• Through hole soldering
• Perform reworks and modifications
• Component Insertion
• Occasionally they may be required to put boards through the selective soldering machine

Experience Required:

• Experience in electronic manufacturing.
• A working knowledge of IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001
• Hold a J-STD-001 certification or be willing to complete certification.
• Must have good component recognition skills and be able to determine the polarity of the components being placed from drawings or board markings
• Rework and modification experience, including hand soldering of SMT components.
• Must be familiar with a range of hand tools including soldering irons, cutters and magnifiers
