Maldon District Council | £30ph Umbrella | 3-Month Contract | 2 Days On Site

Vivid Resourcing are supporting Maldon District Council to recruit an experienced Housing Solutions Officer to join their frontline Housing Options team on a temporary basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a homelessness professional who is confident managing complex cases and delivering prevention and relief duties in line with the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017.

The role will involve:

* Carrying out detailed housing assessments and making lawful decisions

* Creating and reviewing Personalised Housing Plans

* Providing housing options advice across PRS, supported housing and tenancy sustainment

* Working closely with internal teams and external partners to secure solutions

* Managing a busy caseload with accurate case recording

* Delivering a person-centred, trauma-informed service

* Participation in the out of hours rota

What we’re looking for:

* Proven experience within Housing Options / Homelessness services

* Strong knowledge of the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017 and Part VII Housing Act

* Ability to manage complex cases and make sound decisions

* Experience using housing or case management systems

* Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Details:

* £30 per hour (Umbrella)

* 3-month initial contract

* 2 days per week in the Maldon office
