Ambulatory Medical Assistant & Scheduling Specialist

Description

Under the supervision of the Nurse Manager, and in coordination with the Clinical Director and the Practice Manager, incumbent will follow up patient appointments, complete demographics, referral forms, on-line transactions including appointment and procedure scheduling using the Care Connect System. Explain billing procedures and insurance requirements.

In this position, you will participate in providing patient care in the ambulatory setting, recognizing normal and abnormal signs and symptoms and providing support during life threatening emergencies. You will perform basic administrative, clerical and technical supportive services as needed.
