Join the application for the Part Time Host – Little Beach House Malibu role at Soho House & Co. We are looking for a friendly, organized, and professional host who will be one of the first points of contact for members, guests, and staff.
Responsibilities- Welcome every member and guest by name (where applicable) and greet new guests with hospitality.
- Answer high‑volume phone lines and provide accurate information on menus, hours, amenities, reservations, and general inquiries.
- Create reservations for club restaurants and assist F&B managers with service standards.
- Maintain friendliness, accuracy, and discretion in all calls and interactions.
- Work with the reception team to ensure excellent service and manage expectations.
- Build relationships with members and guests; report feedback and red flags to management.
- Influence a fun and positive atmosphere by being approachable and professional.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
- Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in a similar role.
- Experience with Open Table and MICROS.
- Experience answering high-volume phone lines professionally and timely.
- Problem‑solving skills and conflict‑resolution ability.
- Detail‑oriented, articulate, and able to multi‑task in a high‑volume, demanding environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Flexible schedule, able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Able to use hands to seize, grasp, turn, and hold objects.
- Work on feet for at least 8–10 hours.
- Fast‑paced movements to move between parts of the club.
- Understand and communicate clearly with guests, members, and coworkers.
- Reach and handle computer, keyboard, and desktop items.
- Occasionally kneel, bend, crouch, and climb as required.
