You will split your time between two facilities located in Malibu and Agoura Hills. The midday drive is paid and provides a nice respite—a chance to regroup before working with a second group of teens. With two centers, you’ll also have the opportunity to double your impact
. A typical day is 8-5, but there is some flexibility around start time (7-4, 9-6, etc.). Starting pay is $28 - $36 per hour depending on experience.

To be a good fit for the Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) opportunity, you will have:

• Current & active Licensed Vocational Nurse
• At least two years of experience working as an LVN, preferably in a mental health treatment setting
• Knowledge and experience with Medical Assisted Treatment (MAT) and/or Detox
• Current CPR/First Aid certification
• Outstanding time management skills to balance patient care and complete required daily SOAP notes across two sites
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to travel locally between the two sites (site-to-site travel time is on the clock)

As an LVN, you will share your time between our Beachside Teen Treatment Center and Hillcrest Adolescent Treatment Center and play a crucial role in recovery for each of your clients. Daily, you will be responsible for checking in with each teen and doing a SOAP note. You will manage their medications, work with the pharmacy on medication deliveries (all deliveries are to Hillcrest and you will then transfer the required meds to Beachside), schedule lab work, and more.

Once per week, you will also run a group at each facility, talking about the nursing topic of your choice.

Beachside Teen Treatment Center and Hillcrest Adolescent Treatment Center are tranquil, rehabilitation havens for adolescents struggling with addiction, substance abuse and co-occurring mental health disorders. Beachside is a beautiful residential facility based in Malibu, California, with panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean. Hillcrest offers a rustic, yet elegant atmosphere in the tropical foothills of Agoura Hills. Our mission is to provide healing resources for the adolescents we serve.
