Barista Apprentice - Specialty Coffee

We are looking for a friendly, genuine, and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Barista Apprentice - Specialty Coffee at Caffe Luxxe in Malibu, CA.

$18.00/hr - $20.00/hr (DOE + tips + benefits).

Upon completion of our comprehensive apprenticeship program, senior baristas earn an average of $28-$33 per hour (hourly + tips). The program is designed to develop you into a world‑class barista.

• Ideal candidate is detail‑oriented with a strong desire to grow a career in a fast‑growing, family‑oriented company.
• Position requires 25-30 hours per week; flexibility to work any shift throughout the week is required.
• Training is intensive and lasts several weeks; you must be able to commit to the schedule.

• Prepare and serve specialty coffee and other beverages to a high standard of quality.
• Assist with daily shop operations, including inventory, cleanliness, and customer service.
• Participate in hands‑on training sessions to master signature coffee‑making techniques.
• Maintain a welcoming and professional environment for all guests.

• Experience as a barista is a plus, but not required – we provide full training.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for coffee.
• Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast‑paced environment.
