* Job Summary:

** The Grocery Clerk/Stocker is responsible for stocking shelves, organizing merchandise, maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring the grocery department remains clean, safe, and customer-friendly. This position plays a key role in providing an excellent shopping experience by keeping products readily available and properly displayed.###
** Essential Duties and Responsibilities
*** Stock shelves, displays, coolers, and end caps with merchandise according to company standards.
* Rotate products using the First-In, First-Out (FIFO) method to ensure freshness and minimize waste.
* Check expiration dates and remove damaged, outdated, or unsellable products.
* Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked aisles.
* Assist with unloading trucks and moving merchandise from the stockroom to the sales floor.
* Verify inventory counts and report shortages or discrepancies to management.
* Build and maintain promotional displays and seasonal merchandising setups.
* Provide friendly and professional customer service, including assisting customers in locating products.
* Follow all safety, sanitation, and company policies and procedures.
* Operate equipment such as pallet jacks, carts, and box cutters safely.
* Assist with store recovery, cleaning, and other duties as assigned.## Qualifications###

* Previous retail, grocery, or stocking experience preferred but not required.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

* Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.###
** Physical Requirements
*** Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
* Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
* Bend, stoop, kneel, and reach throughout shifts.
* Work in varying temperatures, including refrigerated and freezer environments.###
