Response Security Officer
Garda World Security Services is hiring a Response Security Officer to provide ad‑hoc protection and support at various locations, especially Malibu, California.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor premises and maintain overall security posture.
- Conduct patrols to spot suspicious activity.
- Control access points and verify visitor identities.
- Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
- Provide excellent customer service while maintaining security.
- Write detailed reports on events and incidents.
- Collaborate with authorities during serious situations.
- Ensure safety and protection of individuals and property.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Pass an extensive security screening process.
- Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and clean motor vehicle record.
- State security license (BSIS Guard Card) and completion of 32‑hour BSIS training (additional training can be obtained during hiring).
- Ability to obtain California Guard Card with company support if not already held.
- Location:
Malibu, California. - Flexible availability required; overtime and multiple shifts possible.
- Competitive hourly wage of $20 per hour.
