Manufacturing ​/ Production Operative

Overview

We are currently looking for an Operative at our plant in Maltby. As the successful Operative, you will report to the Site Manager and be responsible for undertaking all site duties safely, understanding CRH and SHE safety. You will work across different areas including raw materials, storage, production, dispatch and housekeeping. • Meeting daily production target requirements
• Reporting data for quality purposes
• Moving, loading and unloading product from the plant and vehicles
• Meeting customer service requirements in terms of accurate loading and timely vehicle turnaround
• Driving continuous improvement of performance standards
• Contributing to continuous improvement of plant and production methods
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping

• Proven experience working within a similar production and dispatch environment
• Good communication skills and numerate
• Proficient communicator
• Strong team player
• Experience of manual handling
• Hold an FLT licence (desirable)
