We are currently recruiting for an experienced Finance Business Partner to join a well-established business based in Malton. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused finance professional who enjoys working closely with operational teams and senior stakeholders, using financial information to drive business performance and support decision-making.

Working closely with the senior leadership and operational teams, you will act as a key link between finance and the wider business, providing meaningful financial analysis, insight and challenge.

• Partnering with operational and senior management teams
• Producing and analysing monthly management accounts
• Providing financial insight into business performance
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting and financial planning
• Analysing costs, margins, profitability and variances
• Providing commercial recommendations to improve business performance
• Supporting investment and business cases with detailed financial analysis
• Monitoring KPIs and producing relevant management reports
• Challenging and supporting operational decision-making
• Improving financial processes, reporting and controls
• Working closely with the wider finance team to ensure accurate and timely information

We are looking for a commercially minded Finance Business Partner / Management Accountant who is confident working with stakeholders outside of finance.

• Previous experience in a Finance Business Partner or commercially focused finance role
• Strong management accounting and financial analysis experience
• Excellent Excel and financial modelling skills
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
• Strong commercial awareness and business acumen
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• The confidence to challenge and influence senior stakeholders
• A proactive approach with the ability to turn financial data into meaningful insight

Salary:
Up to £55,000, depending on experience.
