Make a Difference Through Finance
Aldingbourne Trust is a leading charity supporting people with learning disabilities and autism to live independent, fulfilling lives. We are looking for an experienced and qualified Financial Controller to join our Finance team and play a key leadership role in the continued development and transformation of our financial operations.
This is a hands-on and highly influential position that offers the opportunity to drive change, improve processes, enhance reporting, and support strategic decision-making across the organisation. Working closely with the Director of Finance, you will lead the finance function, develop a talented team, and ensure robust financial management and compliance throughout the Trust.
About the Role
As Financial Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and efficiency of Aldingbourne Trust's financial operations. You will lead financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, audit management, and financial controls while driving continuous improvement and innovation within the finance function.
About You
* Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
* Significant post-qualification experience in a senior finance role
* Strong financial reporting, audit, budgeting, and forecasting experience
* Proven people management and leadership skills
* Experience driving process improvements and system enhancements
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage non-financial stakeholders
