The Role

Working closely with Production Management, you will drive and improve good manufacturing practice, food quality and safety. You will coordinate the compliance team to ensure the highest standards are maintained and improved across all products and processes.

Monday - Wednesday, 06:00-18:00
£13.45 per hour

The Ideal Candidate
  • Previous experience in a similar compliance or technical role within FMCG.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Reliable, conscientious and self-motivated with a determined and resilient approach.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to influence solutions.
  • Able to build strong working relationships across teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Champion product quality, food safety standards and good manufacturing practices at all times.
  • Conduct day to day compliance and quality audits across the site.
  • Ensure compliance principles are aligned with legislative requirements, food industry standards and customer codes of practice.
  • Undertake routine calibration as required by site schedules.
  • Assist in identifying and progressing corrective actions following internal and external audit non-conformances.
  • Monitor production processes and drive factory standards.
  • Ensure accurate completion of all traceability documentation in line with site procedure.
  • Ensure appropriate clothing and PPE is worn by all staff at all times.
Summary

A key role within the Site Technical team, championing compliance standards and safeguarding food safety across our production site.
