Arkansas Early Learning (AEL) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that serves children ages birth to five and their families across Arkansas through Early Head Start and Head Start programs. We provide free infant, toddler, and pre‑K educational childcare/daycare programs in 21 counties, offering a loving, caring, and safe environment that supports early learning and family development.
About the RoleThe Early Head Start (EHS) Teacher will utilize indoor and outdoor environments to create rich learning opportunities that build on daily routines and support each child's development. The teacher skillfully and intentionally creates a bond of care and attention, enabling infants and toddlers to learn and develop appropriately.
Education and Experience- Infant/Toddler Certified Developmental Associate (CDA) or
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s in any field willing to obtain an Emphasis in Infant and Toddler Development certificate (1–2 wk training provided by AEL)
- Full‑time schedule with weekends off
- 33 paid days off in the first year
