ELC Co-educator; Lunch Cover

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Co-Educator to provide floating coverage to our Malvern Campus. You will be a key member of a dedicated and highly motivated team of teachers working in an innovative and supportive learning environment.

This 12-month fixed term opportunity will be across 3 days from 11am – 2:15pm. The Co-Educator will entail moving between allgroups as a lunch cover and supporting children with a range ofneeds.

• Support the design and implementation of teaching activities and strategies based on knowledge of student’s physical, social and intellectual development and characteristics to improve student learning
• Actively contribute ideas resulting in implementation of a stimulating educational program for students that reflect current research and best practice models in early childhood
• Support the ELC teacher in all aspects of the management of student behaviour, and organisation of the centre
• Contribute to the developmental records for each individual student, both written and verbal,under the guidance of the teacher
• Model and live the Caulfield Grammar School values and behaviour

• Proficiency in Mandarin
• Experience working with children with additional needs will be highly advantageous
• Diploma of Early Childhood andCare
• Experience with three, four andfive year olds is essential
• Current First Aid Certificate Level 2, Anaphylaxis Certificate, and Asthma training
• Employment Working With Children Check
