Production Utility

Overview

Join our Malvern team as a Production Utility. This role is on a 4/10, Monday - Thursday shift, rotating every 4 weeks.

• Minimum:
  High School Diploma/GED.
• Forklift experience preferred
• Manufacturing facility experience preferred
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the role – including lifting 50 lbs, standing for long periods of time, and completing repetitive tasks
• Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
• Ability to problem solve and identify safety hazards.

• Pay starts at $19.61 per hour and will increase up to $21.80 upon completion of certifications within the 6-month probationary period, plus a profit share/gain share program

• Handling, stacking, and grading of material up to 18ft in length and weighing up to 50lbs repetitively
• Continuous wrapping and sub-bundling of material and stacking of millwork for shipment
• General cleaning of work area and surroundings
• Banding together units at the end of each production run
• Monitor quality of product, equipment, and safety and work with supervisor as issues arise
• Use a tape measure and miter saw to cut runners and side boards to the proper length for banding

• Ability to move freely throughout the facility, including climbing stairs and ladders, and navigating around equipment and machinery
• Ability to bend, stoop, and crouch as necessary to inspect and maintain equipment
• Capability to lift and carry materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
• Ability to perform physical tasks that involve lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying heavy objects
• Endurance to stand and walk for extended periods, often in environments with dust, chemicals, high noise levels and varying temperatures
