Mechanical Assembler I – Systems, LLC – Poweramp | DLM
Systems, LLC, an affiliate of Chamberlain Group, is a U.S.‑based manufacturer of loading dock equipment marketed under the Poweramp, DLM, and McGuire brands. With facilities in Germantown, Wisconsin and Malvern, Arkansas, all products are designed and produced in the USA using lean manufacturing techniques. Responsibilities- Receive all incoming materials, supplies, equipment, and returned goods.
- Check goods against purchase orders or receiving slips, maintain records, and prepare receiving reports.
- Identify quantity, type, size, part numbers, dimensions, and other characteristics of materials.
- Route or deliver materials to storage or manufacturing locations.
- Label, store, and inventory items; process warranty items such as entering returned goods authorizations into the database.
- Work with Purchasing and Inventory Control to facilitate accurate inventory levels and necessary adjustments.
- Cross‑train in the shipper position, responsible for the preparation of domestic and foreign shipments according to shipping requirements and specifications.
- Drive forklift and maintain necessary certification.
- Operate cranes and hoists.
- Perform other duties as assigned; this is a safety‑sensitive position.
- At least one year of shipping/receiving experience in a heavy manufacturing environment preferred.
- Ability to work in a heavy metal manufacturing industry.
- Basic proficiency in computer operations such as email, databases, spreadsheets, etc.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Physical stamina and a willingness to lift, push, and pull approximately 50 lbs; flexibility to stand, kneel, squat, and bend for extended periods.
The pay range for this position is $17.07 - $24.06/hr base pay offered may vary depending on factors such as the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. In addition to base pay, this role offers a comprehensive benefits package, 401(k) contribution (subject to eligibility), and participation in a short‑term incentive plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
