Acme Brick Company (a Berkshire Hathaway Company) is an organization of professionals in the manufacturing and building material distribution industry. We manufacture brick and distribute our own brick as well as brick and associated products manufactured by others. We operate in 13 states with a philosophy that we are much more than a brick manufacturer and distributor.

We are seeking a "best in class" Sales Coordinator that will schedule and coordinate work schedule for production as required by the demands of the sales force. The ideal candidate has a natural ability to roll with the punches, being flexible to handle anything that might come their way. You will be a strong and reliable support to company operations. Not only will your efforts allow us to achieve organizational efficiency, you will nurture the pleasant work environment our people love.

• Receive orders from sales and schedule production accordingly
• Establish priorities for specific orders
• Review master production schedule and work orders
• Assist with establishing and maintaining manufacturing and delivery priorities
• Review submitted information to determine material and labor requirements to prepare cost estimate
• Interact with customers by phone or in person in regards to orders

• 2+ years of related experience
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel (JDE experience preferred)

• Demonstrated prioritization / time management skills

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college is preferred
