Aboutthe Role
The full‑time Customer Service Representative (Teller) plays a crucial role in ensuring a positive banking experience for our clients in our Mammoth Lakes branch location. The position is responsible for handling customer transactions efficiently and accurately, while providing exceptional service that fosters customer loyalty. The representative is the first point of contact for customers, addressing their inquiries and resolving any issues they may encounter.
By maintaining a thorough understanding of our banking products and services, the teller effectively promotes offerings that meet customer needs. Ultimately, the goal of this role is to enhance customer satisfaction and contribute to the overall success of the branch.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in customer service or a related field.
- Strong numerical and cash handling skills.
- Experience in the banking or financial services industry.
- Familiarity with banking software and technology.
- Process customer transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments with accuracy and efficiency.
- Provide information about bank products and services, assisting customers in making informed decisions.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain compliance with banking regulations and internal policies to ensure the security of customer information.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve branch goals and enhance the overall customer experience.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, attention to detail, problem‑solving skills, and proficiency in technology. Preferred skills include bilingual communication.
