The Clinical Assistant is responsible for performing assigned duties within his/her capabilities and scope of practice. They will assist the clinic provider or nurse in Women’s Health aspects of patient treatment, including emergent care and primary care for all age levels. They will maintain effective interaction with the public and hospital personnel.

• Take the vital signs on all patients including: BP, HR, RR, O2 sat.
• Take height and weight, and pain level on patients.
• Responsible for the patient flow in the clinic, rooming and preparing the patient to be seen by the provider.
• Assist the providers with minor surgery set‑up and specimen preparation.
• Responsible for completing minor lab procedures, including collection of urine and blood specimens, and routing lab results to the correct provider.

• High school diploma required.
• State of California Certified Nurses Assistant or Emergency Medical Technician (State or National) certification required.
• American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification required.

• Full-time, varied day shifts including weekends.
• Starting wage $23.59 to $28.59 based on qualifications.
