We are looking for a full‑time Physical Therapist Assistant to join our dedicated and highly skilled team of avid outdoors enthusiasts (skiers, snowboarders, rock climbers, triathletes, mountaineers, ultramarathoners). Physical Therapist Assistants are responsible for following the Physical Therapist’s treatment plan and administering physical therapy treatments. The Physical Therapist Assistant will work out of both Mammoth and Bishop locations based on demand.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Perform specific tests and measurements in Physical Therapy Clinics.
- Carry out physical therapy techniques appropriate to the diagnosis as designated in the treatment plan.
- Use physical therapy modalities appropriate to the diagnosis as designated in the treatment plan.
- Assist the Physical Therapist in patient discharge planning as needed.
- Record signed notes into the patient record each time physical therapy services have been performed.
- Enjoy working as a team and collaborating with co‑workers for best patient outcomes.
- Enjoy working with people and thrive in a social atmosphere.
- Eager to motivate, goal‑oriented, able to stay positive and patient.
- A good listener and astute observer.
- Associate’s degree required for Physical Therapist Assistant. California Physical Therapist Assistant license required.
- American Heart Association BLS certification required.
- Ability to work effectively with patients, peers, physicians, and ancillary departments.
- Two years of experience as an assistant preferred for Physical Therapist Assistant.
- Full‑time and per diem, day shifts available.
- Starting wage $32.84 to $39.81 based on qualifications.
- Relocation assistance available.
