The PASS RN develops and implements individualized plans of care based on medical and nursing diagnoses, ensuring compliance with anesthesia pre‑op testing guidelines and PASS Center workflows. This position requires strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and attention to detail.

• Coordinate and communicate case information with anesthesia providers
• Arrange and track consultations with Hospitalists
• Review labs, imaging, test results, and medical histories in a timely manner
• Escalate critical information using independent clinical judgment
• Perform preoperative nursing assessments (in‑person or by phone)
• Document assessments and care activities in the electronic health record
• Schedule labs, testing, and PAT visits per protocol
• Collaborate with PACU and interdisciplinary teams, including Total Joint services
• Address post‑care concerns and ensure continuity of care

• Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license (required)
• Current BLS certification (AHA or American Red Cross)
• Strong communication, coordination, and assessment skills
