A little about this position:- Join us in creating an amazing snow surface experience for our guests in fun and dynamic environment at Mammoth's newest year-round attraction. Woolly's Adventure Summit.
- In this role, you will operate a Snow Cat on the slopes and trails under the direction of an Operations/Facilities Manager. Must have the ability to groom existing trails, build ramps, form tube lanes, shape and push snow. Additional work hours will be available performing equipment maintenance, creating on mountain activations and facility maintenance.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- 1-2 full time seasons of operating snow grooming equipment.
- Ability to operate different size snowcats, prepare and finish ramps and construct specialized terrain for Snow play zones and Tubing lanes.
- Strong verbal communication skills and adequate writing abilities.
- Ability to solve problems in a dynamic mountain environment.
- Familiarity with snow removal equipment.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Flexibility to work evenings, early mornings, weekends, and holidays, as required in a ski resort setting.
- Physical capability to perform tasks such as lifting, shoveling snow, and working in varying weather conditions, including direct sun and adverse weather.
Hourly pay rate: $24.84 to $29.51
