Senior Sous Chef – Vulcania – Mammoth Mountain
Levy Restaurants is seeking a Senior Sous Chef to join our culinary team at the Vulcania location on Mammoth Mountain. This role will work closely with our Executive Chef and kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences to our guests.
Job SummaryAs a Sous Chef, you will oversee the daily operations of the Culinary Department, prepare menu items, develop new dishes, and maintain high standards of food safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Executive Chef with menu creation, cost control, and expenditure monitoring.
- Prepare and cook daily menu items and garnish them to presentation standards.
- Produce and execute catering events as needed.
- Implement new culinary programs in partnership with Marketing and the culinary team.
- Supervise hourly associates and collaborate with the Executive Chef on menu development.
- A.S. or equivalent culinary degree.
- Progressive kitchen management experience, preferably in high‑volume or institutional settings.
- Certifications in Serv Safe and Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Experience with catering and batch cooking.
- Strong knowledge of food trends, sanitation, and cost control.
- Computer literacy and willingness to participate in client satisfaction programs.

• Salary: $75,000–$90,000 annually.
