Siemens Healthineers invites you to apply for the Customer Service Engineer (Field Service) position. This role focuses on the installation, start‑up, maintenance, repair, and updating of all Siemens healthcare products in your assigned area, with additional support for other products as directed. The position is based in Manado City.
Responsibilities- Perform installations, troubleshooting, maintenance and updates for all medical devices at the customer site or hospitals.
- Communicate and accept all operative requests from the Customer Care Center or designated dispatch team.
- Prioritize tasks, actions, and schedules accordingly.
- Escalate incidents according to defined parameters to resolve equipment issues.
- Ensure proper use of tool and test equipment.
- Comply with national and local regulations and safety standards, as well as technical and operational guidelines from Siemens Healthcare.
- Maintain highest customer satisfaction within the framework of Siemens Healthcare customer services.
- Execute all responsibilities and jobs proactively and cost‑effectively, considering profitability.
- Manage company assets.
- Establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers, performing necessary administrative duties accurately.
- Travel frequently, visit customer sites and work overtime when needed.
- Attend all mandatory technical trainings as required by the company.
- Fresh graduate or at least 1 year of experience in the medical device industry, holding a completed Diploma Degree IV in Electromedical Engineering (GPA 3.0+ with transcript) or a Bachelor’s degree in Bio‑Medical / Electronic Engineering (GPA 3.0+ with transcript).
- Proficient mechanical skills, including use of hand tools, drill, torque and measurement devices (preferred).
- Strong technical and analytical skills for reading electronics wiring diagrams and troubleshooting using measurement devices (preferred).
- Experience in a similar role and in healthcare (preferred but not mandatory).
- Understanding of operations within the medical device industry (preferred but not mandatory).
- Strong written and spoken English for escalations to regional support, following service documentation, and participating in overseas trainings.
- High drive and focus on results and customer service.
- Capability to perform mechanical tasks, electronics troubleshooting, IT networking, etc.
- Ability to produce proper reporting and support operational needs.
- Independence in work with leadership skills as an advantage.
- Adaptability, solution‑oriented mindset, and proactive action to improve Customer Service Engineering.
