Battleground Country Club is seeking an experienced Golf Course Superintendent to lead the maintenance operations of our premier 220-acre facility. Originally designed by Hal Purdy and later refined by Robert McNeil, our historic course is known for its pristine conditions and "golfing oasis" atmosphere in the heart of Monmouth County.
As part of the Concert Golf Partners family, the incoming Superintendent will manage a solid operating budget and oversee nearly $1M in additional planned capital improvements scheduled for .
The Role
Reporting to the General Manager, the Superintendent will be responsible for all aspects of course maintenance, ensuring a high standard of daily presentation and consistency.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience:Minimum of 3 years managing Bentgrass greens, specifically within the U.S. Mid-Atlantic region.
- Leadership:Proven track record in effective employee management and team building.
- Financial Acumen:Strong skills in budget management and resource allocation.
- Standards:A dedication to providing "second to none" playing conditions.
- Salary:$135,000 - $150,000 annually.
- Bonus:Performance-based bonus potential.
