Junior Accountant

Junior Accountant - Manama, Bahrain

We are hiring a Junior Accountant to join our team in Manama, Bahrain. As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with financial reports, preparing and maintaining accounts payable and receivable records, and performing basic bookkeeping tasks. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in accounting and must hold a valid biometric passport. Accommodation will be provided for this role.

• Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable and receivable records
• Perform basic bookkeeping tasks such as data entry and reconciliations
• Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end close procedures
• Review expense reports for accuracy and compliance with company policies
• Ensure timely payments of invoices and resolve any discrepancies or issues that may arise
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information and adhere to all financial regulations

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting
• Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Biometric passport required
