Junior Accountant

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our growing team in Manama. As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and assisting with the preparation of financial statements. The ideal candidate will have a degree in accounting and strong analytical skills. This is a full-time position with a starting salary of $1000 per month.

• Record daily financial transactions in the general ledger
• Prepare journal entries and reconcile accounts
• Assist with month-end close processes
• Prepare financial statements and reports
• Perform variance analysis on budget vs. actuals
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
• Strong proficiency in Excel and accounting software
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Strong analytical skills and ability to identify trends or anomalies in data

• Previous experience as an accountant or internships in accounting field
• Knowledge of IFRS standards
