Job Description
A leading company in the Kingdom of Bahrain seeks to employ locally available Junior Accountants to join the team.
Job Description- Handle daily accounting entries and maintain accurate financial records
- Prepare and process invoices, payments, and receipts
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations
- Assist in monthly and yearly closing processes
- Prepare financial reports and supporting documents
- Maintain petty cash records and expense tracking
- Assist with VAT, tax filing, and other compliance requirements
- Maintain proper filing of financial documents and records
- Coordinate with auditors and provide required documents when needed
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- 3 to 5 years of experience as an Accountant
- Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills in English
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and accounting software
- Knowledge of Tally or other accounting software
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team with minimal supervision
