Junior Accountant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team in Manama Bahrain. As a Junior Accountant you will be responsible for supporting the financial operations of our company by assisting with various accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial principles and practices, excellent analytical skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.

• Assist with day-to-day accounting operations such as preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts and maintaining financial records
• Support the preparation of financial statements and reports
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments and expenses
• Perform data entry and maintain accurate records in the accounting system
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
• Conduct monthly bank reconciliations
• Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow projections
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper recording of financial transactions
• Provide support for audits and tax filings

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting or finance roles
• Proficient in MS Office Excel, Word and accounting software Quickbooks
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Knowledge of Bahraini GAAP is preferred but not required

Salary $1600 per month
