Senior Accountant

Our company in Manama is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing all financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and supervising junior accounting staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Manage all accounting operations including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and financial reporting
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Analyze financial data and provide strategic recommendations to management
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with tax preparation
• Oversee month-end close process and reconciliation of accounts
• Train and supervise junior accounting staff
• Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities
• Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Minimum of 5 years experience as an Accountant, preferably in a senior role
• Excellent knowledge of GAAP principles and procedures
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Proficient in MS Office and accounting software (Quick Books preferred)
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
