Workshop Supervisor/Service Manager

- Inspect vehicles and identify mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults
- Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, lubrication, and fluid checks
- Repair and replace faulty components such as engines, transmissions, brakes, steering systems, suspension systems, and exhaust systems
- Conduct diagnostic tests using specialized tools and equipment
- Troubleshoot engine, electrical, and performance-related issues
- Perform vehicle servicing according to manufacturer specifications
- Test-drive vehicles before and after repairs to ensure proper functionality
- Maintain accurate service and repair records
- Ensure compliance with workshop safety procedures and regulations
- Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized
- Assist in identifying spare parts requirements and report inventory needs
- Support other workshop activities as required
- Diploma, Technical Certificate, or Vocational Training in Automotive Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an Automotive Mechanic, Vehicle Mechanic, or Automotive Technician
- Experience working on passenger vehicles, light commercial vehicles, or fleet vehicles
- Experience with diagnostic equipment and repair tools
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, steering, and electrical systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and repair guides
- Proficiency in vehicle diagnostics and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices
- Understanding of workplace health and safety standards
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills for service reporting and diagnostics
