- Strong understanding of material pricing, labor rates, and subcontractor quotation analysis.
- Familiarity with procurement procedures and vendor negotiations in the construction sector.
- Comprehensive understanding of standard construction contract conditions regarding contractual obligations and commercial clauses.
- Ability to assist in drafting, administering, and managing subcontracts and main contracts.
- Expertise in site measurement, taking-off quantities, and valuing completed construction work for interim payment applications.
- Skill in assessing and pricing project variations, change orders, and site instructions.
- Experience in monitoring project expenditures, preparing cash flow forecasts, and conducting cost-reconciliation statements.
- Ability to prepare monthly commercial reports, final accounts, and claim assessments for management review.
- Proficiency in specialized takeoff and measurement tools alongside industry-standard platforms.
- Advanced command of MS Excel for cost modeling, data tracking, and financial dashboards.
- Strong ability to read, interpret, and cross-reference architectural, structural, and MEP engineering drawings and specifications to derive accurate quantities.
